The Cypress Bay High School Renovations, Repairs and Additions project is a phased renovation, repair, and addition project on an occupied campus, designed to relieve overcrowding and to provide the necessary building improvements to safely operate the school. The project features significant campus wide renovations and repairs, such as safety/ security upgrades, weight room renovations, and HVAC and building envelope improvements. The scope of work includes building envelope improvements to Building 8, HVAC and systems improvements to Buildings 1 and 3, and safety and security improvements to Building 99. The scope also includes the relocation of parent drop-off loop and parking, relocation and building envelope improvements to Building 85, and a new three-story, 78,885 SF classroom addition to replace 61 portables.
